He got started in acting at age 5 by doing commercials, including a series for Kohl's department store, and continued on into acting and voice acting roles on several live action and animated TV series. Quinn provided the voice of Linus van Pelt in a series of Peanuts webisodes.
His first movie role was in the 2006 Matthew Borderick and Danny DeVito comedy Deck the Halls. In 2008, he took over the role of Jason Conrad in 3-2-1 Penguins! from Mark Marten. More recently, he was in two episodes of R.L. Stien's The Haunting Hour.
In the upcoming film Imaginaerum, he plays Tom at age 10. Tom is a composer with severe dementia, having reached the end of his life (age 70 in the film) but still thinks he is a young boy and recalls dreams of his childhood when he falls asleep. The film is based on the concept album of the same name by Finnish symphonic metal band Nightwish and is scheduled to open in Finland on November 23, 2012.
Holds dual citizenship with Canada and the United States.
